1339852 Buoyant garments H CALVERLEY 9 June 1972 [26 June 1971] 30049/71 Addition to 1225276 Heading A3V The buoyant garment of the parent case, Specification 1,225,276, is modified in that the pliable rods are formed of an expanded closedcell co-polymer of vinyl chloride with the addition of a modifying resin such as urethane, styrene, vinyl pyridine, vinylidene chloride, vinyl acetate or nitrile rubber (butadiene-acrylonitrile). The outer and inner lining layers of the garment may be rendered showerproof by treatment with silicone.
