Abstract

1337792 Fluid-dispenser cartridges J A R DEVELOPMENTS (GARAGE EQUIPMENT Ltd) 31 Dec 1971 [5 Jan 1971] 410/71 Heading F1R A fluid-dispenser cartridge comprises an elongated rigid tubular container 40 and a bellows assembly 52 comprising a length of convoluted tube, the ends of which are each closed by a pair of cap members 50, 58 and 62, 64 between which a marginal edge of the end of the tube is engaged, the bellows assembly forming a reservoir for fluid and being arranged in the container with the cap members 50, 58 attached to one end of the container and the cap members 62, 64 being freely movable longitudinally of the container, the other end of the container being provided with an opening 46 through which aforce may be applied to contract the convoluted tube and dispense fluid from an outlet port in the bellows assembly. The convolutions of the bellows assembly are reinforced by rings 54. In the embodiment shown the cartridge is received within a casing, the casing including an elongate chamber 12 and a portion 22 thereof defines together with the end 44 of the container 40 an enclosed space into which fluid under pressure may be admitted to contract the bellows assembly. Alternatively, the bellows may be contracted by a lever arrangement (not shown).
