1336282 Pressure relieving devices MESSER GRIESHAM GmbH 26 April 1972 [6 May 1971] 19359/72 Heading F1D A pressure relieving device comprises a rupturable metal foil disc 8 which is deformed by excess pressure into contact with a cutting device 1, 2 having a cross or star-shaped cutting zone. The cutting device may be in the form of saw plates, needles or knife edges. The cutting device 1, 2, the disc 8, and a cap 3 are all mounted on a ring 4 sandwiched between an intermediate ring 10 and a ring 5 screwed into a casing 6.
