1335377 Mobile staging D C R CHIAROTTO S LOTTO and F SAGGIN 9 Nov 1970 [12 Nov 1969] 53160/70 Heading E1S [Also in Divisions B7 and B8] A mobile apparatus for inspecting the underneath of bridges &c. comprises a lorry 1 upon which is rotatably mounted a base frame 4 which pivotally mounts, by way of a link 5, an extensible tower 6 movable between a horizontal inoperative position and a vertical operative position and being displaced by the link 5 during such movement, away from the centre line of the lorry. An extensible platform 8 is mounted on the lower end of the tower to be pivotable between an inoperative position alongside the tower and an operative position at right angles thereto, and to be rotatable about the axis of the tower whereby the platform may be located beneath a bridge.
