1334525 Dress form A E ARTHUR Ltd 24 Aug 1971 [26 Aug 1970 2 Sept 1970 21 April 1971 23 June 1971] 41124/70 41932/70 10434/70 and 29527/71 Heading G5G A dressmaking form comprises an assembly of radially adjustable body sections wherein meeting edges of adjacent sections are interconnected by adjusting means 3, each comprising two spaced racks 11, 12 having a pinion 10 interposed between them, the adjacent sections being connected to the racks. The pinion is rotated by a knob 5 between discrete positions where a bar 13 engages grooves 14. The diameter of the neck portion is adjustable by similar means except that the pinion operates four racks, each attached to one of four arcuate sections which define the neck portion (Fig. 9, not shown). The vertical dimension of the waist portion can also be adjusted; the tube 34 on which the hip sections 1 are mounted is movable with respect to the main tube 23. The tubes may be locked together by means of interengaging teeth. Guide rods 41 for this adjusting operation are provided.
