Abstract
1332303 Isomersiation catalysts IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 16 Nov 1970 [27 Nov 1969] 58157/69 Heading B1E [Also in Divisions C1 and C5] Silica-alumina catalysts are hydrothermally treated by exposure to liquid water at 100-374C under a pressure which is sufficient to maintain the water in the liquid phase. The treatment reduces the surface area and increases the mean pore diameter. The catalyst can be regenerated by burning of carbonaceous deposits.
