1328329 Radio receiving apparatus INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORP 10 Aug 1972 [16 Aug 1971] 37288/72 Heading H3Q A flame-proof or fire-retarding rear wall for a radio or television receiver cabinet is made from a fire-retarding plastics material and lined on its inside over a major portion with a double layer metal foil. The foil-composed of two aluminium layers with an interleaved paper layer-may extend, at least in part, over a ledge 8 so as to catch drips or burning pieces of material. Pegs 2 and/or ledges 3 may be provided and the foil, provided with corresponding cut-outs, welded thereto. Cut-outs are also provided to clear ventilation apertures 9.
