Abstract
1327147 Seismic prospecting IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 15 Feb 1972 [17 March 1971] 7081/71 Heading H4D [Also in Division F3] A method of seismic prospecting comprises continuously feeding a fuse-cord with a ribbed outer elastomeric layer (see Heading F3A) through an advancing tubular conduit to lie in a position substantially parallel to the upper ground layer of a prospect area, detonating the cord and recording the waves reflected or refracted from subterranean rock layer interfaces. The cord may also be used for underwater prospecting.
