Abstract

1325538 Telescopic props; portable buildings CLIFTON & SONS Ltd 9 Sept 1970 [9 Sept 1969] 44531/69 Headings E1A and E1E A telescopic prop having attachment means such as plates 16 for mounting a building unit thereon, see Fig. 4 (not shown), and adjustable retention means such as a pin-and-slot arrangement is provided with a sliding bracket 24, 25 adjustably mounted on one leg 11 to receive a jack and a further bracket 26 fixedly mounted on the other leg to serve as an abutment therefor. The prop is also provided with a lifting lug 29, a cap 17 and a foot plate 15 having aligned holes 18, 19 respectively.
