Abstract

1324977 Control of brushless motors SIEMENS AG 19 April 1971 [25 April 1970] 26853/71 Heading H2J [Also in Division G3] In a brushless D.C. motor having n windings connected through respective decoupling diodes to a common point at which a speed indicative signal is produced, at least (n - 1) of the diodes are connected to the common point through variable resistors. As shown, all of the decoupling diodes D1-D3 are connected to the point A through respective variable resistors R1-R3 to ensure that equal speed indicative signals are fed to point A from the various windings W1-W3. The signal at point A is fed to a speed regulator R.
