Abstract

1324176 Terminal boxes KABELWERK OBERSPREE (KWO) VEB 4 Nov 1970 52476/70 Heading H2E In a terminal box comprising two longitudinally divided body portions 1, the sealing of the cables is achieved by an adjacent pair of moulded discs 3, 3 in Fig. 11, wherein each disc comprises two identical portions as 5 or 6 (Fig. 1 and 3) which are adapted to be connected by corresponding projections and recesses on each disc portion and a sealing block 24 with connecting webs 35 sandwiched between the discs. The box is moulded of glass fibre, the disc portions of polyamide and the sealing blocks of elastic material. The cable apertures of the discs and blocks are designed to facilitate adaption to the size of cable, for instance the sealing block 24 is provided with cylindrical sleeves and the block 29 with coaxial depressions forming "cut-outs".
