Abstract
1321359 Electrophotographic copiers ADDRESSOGRAPH MULTIGRAPH CORP 19 April 1971 [6 April 1970] 24863/71 Heading G2H A copy belt 12 comprises a photo-conductive layer 58 having a conductive backing 56, the backing 56 being earthed through a conductive path provided by a corona discharge unit 36 which is positioned adjacent an exposed portion 56A of the backing. The belt is moved past a corona discharge sensitizing station (18), Fig.1; (not shown) on exposure station (24) an electrically biased developing station (40) and an electrically biased transfer roller (52). Preferably the belt 12 comprises a polyvinyl carbazole layer 58, a copper or aluminium backing 56 and a Mylar (R.T.M.) substrate 54.
