1320825 Packages PHILIPS ELECTRONIC & ASSOCIATED INDUSTRIES Ltd 15 Nov 1971 [18 Nov 1970] 52948/71 Heading B8C Articles susceptible to shock, such as electrical apparatus, are packed between padding parts 1 of foamed plastics material connected by a sleeve 11 of corrugated cardboard whose axial edges are received and held in slots 25 in the parts 1. The faces 15 of parts 1 are recessed at 13 to receive the sleeve, and are formed with projections 17 which engage apertures 19 in the sleeve. Preferably, slots 27 include two inclined recesses which receive the sleeve edges.
