Abstract

1320190 Horticultural staging with irrigating system E W HUGHES 27 Oct 1970 50996/70 Addition to 1162188 Heading A1E The invention of the present case is modified in that the troughs are formed between two pairs of ribs 6, 8 at right angles and the perforations at one level are formed in both ribs of a pair. As shown, both the upper and lower perforations 5, 7 are formed in separate sections of the same ribs 8, the sections carrying the upper perforations 7 being open at the bottom 9 to discharge into a tank (not shown) on which the whole unit rests. Liquid is pumped from this tank through conduits 2 and 3 to the rib sections 4 carrying the lower level perforations 5. In another embodiment (Fig. 3, not shown) the perforations at one level are formed in both of one pair of ribs and the other perforations in both of the other pair.
