Abstract

1320119 Tape measure MANUFACTURE QUENOT MABO 8 May 1972 21337/72 Heading G1M A drum wound tape measure is housed in a rectangular case mounting a plate 35, Fig.1, which may be slid into and out of a windowed pocket formed between two external walls 23, 30 on one side of the case. A pointed member (45) clipped to the case, Fig. 2 (not shown) is used to impress calculations or figures on an outer plastics sheet (39) of a three sheet layer held on the plate 35, these calculations being traced thro' on to the lower sheets which may be separated when the plate is withdrawn. An eraser 40 and a tape return button 15 is provided and the wall 30 may be slidable, Fig.3 (not shown) to allow the tape drum or the sheets (39) to be replaced.
