Abstract
1319822 Paper CENTRE TECHNIQUE DE L'INDUSTRIE DES PAPIERS CARTONS ET CELLULOSES 2 June 1970 [3 June 1969] 26536/70 Heading D2B [Also in Division C3] A fibrous sheet material of natural and/or synthetic fibres may be filled throughout its mass, with a methylene-urea polymer consisting of substantially spherical water-insoluble particles which exhibit the optical phenomenon of the Maltese Cross and have a refractive index of 1.4-1.6, a diffuse reflectance exceeding 95% (MgO reference) for light of maximum wavelength 0.42-0.68 microns, a melting point of 230-250C., a density of 1.00- 1.70 g/cc, an isoelectric point at pH 4-7, and a nitrogen content (Kjeldahl) of 30-38% (see Division C3). An optical brightener may also be present.
