Abstract
1319633 Transistor pulse circuits COMPAGNIE INDUSTRIELLE DES TELECOMMUNICATIONS CIT-ALCATEL 31 July 1970 [4 Aug 1969] 37221/70 Heading H3T A circuit for receiving for example positive or negative telegraph pulses and converting them into a curent of certain polarity at one or other of two outputs of a bistable circuit is provided with means for suppressing short spurious input pulses. With a positive input at RON, T1 becomes conductive to hold Z n1 below its breakdown voltage so that T 3 , T 4 are cut off. C 3 then charges until Z n4 breaks down turning on T 5 , T 6 and turning T 7 off, to produce a positive output at D. Short spurious positive pulses produce no output at D since C3 does not charge sufficiently to break down Z n4 . With a negative input at RON T 1 is cut off, Z n1 breaks down and T 3 turns on to charge C 2 until Z n2 breaks down switching on T 4 , T 7 and switching off T 6 to produce a positive output at C 1 . Short spurious negative pulses produce no output at C 1 since C 2 does not charge sufficiently to break down Z n3 . Operation of the circuit may be inhibited by removing the earth potential from point A. Z n2 then breaks down turning on T 2 to hold T 3 cut off irrespective of the input at RON.
