1319230 4 - Aminoindane - 5,7 - disulphonic acid and its salts VYZKUMNY USTAV ORGANICKYCH SYNTEZ 16 Sept 1971 [23 Oct 1970] 43111/71 Heading C2C The invention comprises 4-aminoindane-5,7- disulphonic acid and its salts. It may be obtained by sulphonating 4-aminoindane-7-sulphonic acid or a salt thereof at a temperature from 40‹ to 200‹ C., preferably with fuming H 2 SO 4 . It may also be obtained by sulphonating the crude product obtained by sulphonate baking salts of 4-amino-indane with H 2 SO 4 or ClSO 3 H. Examples are given for the production of the compound.
