Abstract
1318577 Holography CANON K K 21 July 1970 [21 July 1969] 35176/70 Heading G2J In holographic apparatus the incident beam from laser 1 is divided into one transmitted and two reflected beams by a beam splitter 2', the transmitted beam and one of the reflected beams being used to illuminate an object 4' and the other reflected beam being the reference beam. The hologram is formed on a photo-sensitive plate H. The reference beam can be deflected to be incident on either side of plate H by a movable mirror M 3 so that plane or volume holograms can be formed. The apparatus used as a camera additionally incorporates a shutter Sh, exposure meter E and neutral density filters F 1 , F 2 . If desired a collimator L 1 may be included in the reference beam path. The apparatus may also be used to reconstruct the hologram.
