Abstract

1318576 Multi-deck stands E PUTIN 17 July 1970 [ 30 Aug 1969] 34646/70 Heading A4H [Also in Divisions B8, F4.] A drying frame e.g. for bricks comprises uprights 13 which receive plates 12 to which support sections 11 are joined (of which only one is shown), bearings 15 for rollers on which the bricks are laid being attached to the sections 11. It is possible to vary the position of the rollers by moving the plates 12 within the uprights 13. The plates 12 are secured in position by nuts 14. The inter-axial distance between rollers is adjustable by sliding the bearings 15 on the sections 11. In a second embodiment, Fig. 1 (not shown), support sections (1) are permanently welded to vertical stand uprights (2), the rollers being rotatably held in position on the sections (1) by their engagement with linear members (5), Fig.6 (not shown), having recesses for receipt of the end journals (7), Fig.5 (not shown), of the rollers.
