Abstract

1314913 Making elements for headlamps PROJECTEURS CIBIE 13 July 1970 [31 July 1969] 33856/70 Heading B3A [Also in Division F4] An asymmetric tubular element for interposition between the reflector and glass of a motor car headlamp is made by joining together equal length ends of an elongate metal strip to form an asymmetrical tubular blank, pressing the blank to shape against a die form and forming flanges 5, 6 at the ends of the element to permit attachment of the reflector to one side and the glass to the other side of the element. The ends of the elongate blank are joined at 4 by solder or clips.
