1314465 Mixing apparatus LAVORAZIONE MATERIE PLASTICHE-LMP SpA 13 July 1971 [24 Sept 1970] 32865/71 Heading B1C [Also in Division B5] Apparatus for extrusion moulding hollow articles has a pair of parallel co-rotating intermeshing screws 12, 14, the screw 14 having a detachable threaded extension 18 in a detachable chamber 16 of circular cross-section to which an extrusion die (not depicted) can be attached. The threads of the extension may have interruptions 30 and both the extension and the chamber 16 may have cooling means. The core diameter of the extension 18 is smallest in the region of the confluence chamber 28.
