Abstract

1313377 Toy vehicle tracks; racing game IDEAL TOY CORP 19 Aug 1970 [22 Oct 1969] 39877/70 Headings A6H and A6S A racing game comprises battery powered vehicles A', B', Fig. 1, having drive means to travel at substantially the same speed along a track 10 comprised of individual track sections forming a first course L 1 and a second course L 2 and two crossover means 26, 26' arranged to switch the vehicles A', B' from one course to another course, each crossover control A, B being manually controlled. The first and second courses L 1 , L 2 may each comprise a guideway in which depending pins of the vehicles A', B' are engageable and the crossovers 26, 26' comprise guideways (42, 44) Fig. 2 (not shown) bridging the courses L 1 and L 2 . The track 10 may comprise at least two crossovers 26, 26' in which there is a common activating member 54, Fig. 3, for lane switching members 46, 48 connected to pneumatic switch activating means each including an actuating bellows 64 into which pressure may be introduced by means of hand controls 68.
