Abstract

1310263 Camera bodies EASTMAN KODAK CO 3 April 1970 [3 April 1969] 15834/70 Heading G2A A camera has a main support structure to which are removably attached various optical, electrical, etc. parts, all these being held immovably on the support structure by the securing of a key part thereto. As shown, the camera comprises a main body structure 1, to which a lens mount 11 is secured by a bayonet fitting. An exposure meter 4 and viewfinder 5 can be attached to the body 1 by pins 4a, 5a respectively which fit into holes 1a, 1b. A front cover 6 is located by lugs 1c on the body, and held in position by a lock 11b on the lens mount. A holder 13 in a recess of body 1 forms an attachment means for the back cover 12, either by a hinge or a flexible integral connection. A frame 7 whose vertical arms are slightly flexible is slid over the body 1 from below until latches 7a lock into recesses 1h. Finally a top frame 8 is mounted in position, and secured by screws 9 to the body 1. The ends of frame 8 cover the latches 7a, and thus the frame acts as a key locking all the parts in position.
