1309719 Lifting blocks FRIED KRUPP GmbH 13 Jan 1972 [14 Jan 1971] 1691/72 Heading B8H Apparatus for stacking artificial stone blanks comprises a gripper assembly 2, Fig. 3, consisting of separate sets 6, 7, 8, of gripper jaws of identical width and each operable to pick blanks from one of columns 3, 4, 5 on a conveyer 1, and means for determining which set or sets of gripping jaws shall be operative at each gripping operation. The assembly is rotatable about a vertical axis and operation of the jaws is under programme control. The jaws may be operated electrically, hydraulically or mechanically or by any combination of these means.
