Abstract
1307974 Tweezers NATIONAL RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT CORP 16 Jan 1970 [16 Oct 1968] 49021/68 Heading B4W [Also in Divisions F4 and G2] A pair of tweezers for transferring cut sections of biological material from a microtome to a freeze drier comprises a pair of electrically insulated arms 56, 57, e.g. of P.T.F.E., resiliently sprung apart, each arm carrying one of a pair of forceps 58, 59. For decharging cut sections held between the forceps, a wire 61 connects the forceps with an aluminium plate 62, adapted for contacting a charged polystyrene block 64.
