Abstract

1307380 Transferring articles between endless conveyers; reciprocating conveyers ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 23 Oct 1970 [25 Oct 1969] 50424/70 Heading B8A Articles 1 are lifted from a lower station 4 (resting on rails 15) to an upper station 2 by the action of a reciprocating frame 3 carrying two pairs of pawls 14. These pick up the article and carry it to the first of a series of verticallyspaced stations, each of which is defined by a further two pairs of saws 14. Return of the frame thus leaves the article on the last-mentioned set of pawls. When a further article 1 is picked up from the station 4, the first article is carried up to the next station and so on. A reciprocating ram 9, feeds the articles from a conveyer belt 7 to the station 4. A similar ram 13 feeds the articles from the upper station 2 to a conveyer belt 11.
