1306192 Tape dispensers YEUN SE-KIT 4 May 1971 13016/71 Heading A4G Adhesive tape is dispensed from roll 12, Fig 3, supported between side walls 24 by spindle 18, by motor M driving internested milled wheels 26, 28 the tape being corrugated by two guide wheels 32 pressing the tape between the wheels 28 to prevent sticking before it is dispensed over guide 38, wheels 32 being lifted on frame 33 about spindle 27 on pulling the tape to sever it on blade 36. In a side wall, button 46, 102 slides on stud 107 to actuate micro switch 110, 108 controlling motor M for dispensing any length of tape according to time of depressing button 46 when a sliding button 44 is in its extreme left position. Button 102 carries a switching member 90, 92, 94, 96 pivotable and slidable at 98 in a button slot. On sliding button 44 partly to the right plate 78, 80 tensions spring 100 to push the switching member to place arm 92 in the path of cam 54 driven by the motor. On depressing and releasing the button, switch 110 is actuated and spring 100 pulls switching member 94 on top of switch 110 to hold it closed until rotation of cam 54 acts on part 92 to shift member 94 allowing switch 110 to stop the motor after a specified length of tape is dispensed. On sliding button 44 completely to the right, plate 78 displaces at bend 66 a spring loaded pivoted fork 64 which shifts a cam 58 slidably splined on cam shaft 27 to the side of cam 54 where, after dispensing a shorter length of tape it engages arm 92 and stops the motor. With slider 44 in either of the rightwards positions member 94 rests on switch 110 or energizes the motor. A pin or member 90 (120, Fig 1 not shown) protudes into the path of frame 33 so that every time a predetermine length of tape is cut and lifts frame 33, the motor is stopped and then restorted to dispense a further length of tape.
