1304727 Roller blinds; swimming pool covers D A SCOTT 19 Oct 1971 [15 Sept 1970] 43 967/70 Headings A4B and A4N [Also in Division A6] A window blind, cover for a sports pitch area or swimming pool cover comprises a textile or plastics sheet 10 with spaced parallel pockets each housing a spring steel strip 12 having a first permanent set whereby the strip tends to wind into a coil and a second permanent set such that, in the uncoiled and straightened condition, the strip is of concavo-convex shape in transverse cross-section whereby the straightened strip resists its tendency to coil up until the strip end is deflected. The sheet is secured at one end. Cords 13 attached to the opposite end are utilized to unroll the sheet.
