Abstract
1303134 Producing Ti NIPPON SODA CO Ltd 19 Feb 1970 [20 March 1969] 7913/70 Heading C7D Titanium powder is produced by reducing titanium chloride with Na at 600-900‹C, the product is heated at 900-950‹C (e.g. for 1-10 hours without agitation) and then ground so that at least part of the mixture has a size below 100Á, the NaCl then being removed (e.g. by leaching with water or dilute HCl solution).
