Abstract
1301955 Spark forming SIEMENS AG 19 April 1971 [18 March 1970] 24256/71 Heading B3 [Also in Divisions B5 and H1] An imitation wire (11), Fig. 1 (not shown), for a spark-forming operation is embedded in the surface of an insulating carrier filament (12). A copper wire of 0À02-0À06 mm. diameter is embedded in a polyamide filament of 0À5 to 1 mm. diameter by drawing the two through a die 25 heated by a winding 210 so that the wire penetrates the fused surface of the filament. The filament is pre-heated in a nozzle 26.
