Abstract

1300875 Skid pipes BLOOM ENG CO Inc 13 May 1971 [1 June 1970] 14633/71 Heading F4B A protective refractory member for protecting a skid pipe 10 comprises a refractory elongated hollow element 12 and an interconnected wire mesh 15 solidly embedded within said hollow element, and a plurality of spaced plug-like openings 18 extending through the hollow element to permit anchoring of the mesh 15 to the skid-pipe 10. The hollow element 12 actually is constructed in two parts, the edges of the two respective parts being chamfered to permit swinging movement about the hingelike connection 20.
