Abstract

1298906 Insecticidal vapour generator THURON INDUSTRIES Inc 19 Jan 1971 [21 Jan 1970 4 Jan 1971] 2671/71 Heading A5G A device to attach to animals and which generates an insecticidal vapour comprises a casing having two vapour-permeable (e.g. perforated) parts 81 and 85 which fit together and enclose a solid block containing a volatile insecticide, e.g. aldrin, heptachlor, lindane, parathion, malathion, DDVP or diethyl 2- chloro-vinyl phosphate, the whole having means, e.g. the eyelet 84, whereby it may be attached to the animal as by a cord. In a second embodiment described, the two parts of the casing are hinged together.
