Abstract
1298710 Removal of halogen from a gas stream BECKMAN INSTRUMENTS Inc 5 June 1970 [30 June 1969]. 27167/70 Heading C1A Free halogen is removed from a gas stream containing SO 2 and free halogen by passing the gas through a scrubber containing metallic copper at ambient temperature. After leaving the scrubber the gas may be passed to an analyser which is sensitive to both SO 2 and halogen, for analysis of the SO 2 content.
