Abstract

1298054 N - substituted 2 - amino - 6 - chloropyridine TH GOLDSCHMIDT AG 19 April 1971 [17 Feb 1970] 20740/71 Heading C2C The invention comprises compounds of formula wherein R is C 8-18 saturated or unsaturated aliphatic radical, n is 2 or 3, and m is 1-2, and a process for making them by reacting 2,6- dichloropyridine with the appropriate di- or triamine, at 100-180‹ C. in presence of an acid acceptor. Biocidal compositions in conventional form comprise compounds of the above formula, which have bactericidal activity.
