Abstract

1295587 Selective printing SIEMENS AG 20 April 1971 [21 April 1970] 10263/71 Heading B6F Summation devices.-A pulley and tape summation device comprises successive deflection rollers 3, 4, 5, alternately supported in two rows, each row being supported on a lever 7 or 8. The levers are actuated upon by a common cam 9. Control members having stops 10, 11, 12 are individually and selectively set and determine whether an associated roller 3, 4 or 5 is carried on the deflection lever controlled by the cam 9 or is stopped on a stop. In an alternative embodiment (Fig. 2), a third lever (24).with a deflecting roller (26) is held against the cam 9 by a spring (25) acting against the tension of the tape 1, and the lever is supported upon a controllable stop to prevent it from following the cam contour. In (Fig. 2), latches (15, 16 and 17) take the place of the stops 10, 11 and 12.
