Abstract

1293911 Trays E S & A ROBINSON Ltd 2 Feb 1970 [31 Jan 1969] 5489/69 Heading A4A [Also in Division B8] Two similar trays, suitable for containing food, may be stacked by means of projections in at least two corner portions 46 of the lower tray engaging corresponding apertures 9 in the base of the upper tray. The front wall of the tray may be lower than the other three or omitted altogether to allow food to be eaten directly from the tray. The tray may comprise three assembled parts (as shown), may be integrally moulded from plastics, or may be erected from a single blank Figs. 1-5 (not shown). The stacked trays may be housed in an outer container having an external coating of aluminium foil and an opening through which all or a part of the stack may be withdrawn.
