Abstract
1293840 Programme control TOKYO SHIBAURA ELECTRIC CO Ltd 14 Dec 1970 [13 Dec 1969(4)] 59300/70 Heading G3N The output of a clock pulse oscillator 11 is fed to frequency divider 12 from which is derived a plurality of related signals of different frequencies f 1 to f n . Switches 13 1 -13 n are selected in accordance with a prescribed programme by a command signal to pass selected signals f 1 -f n to a logical operation circuit 14. The circuit 14 comprises OR-gates which add the selected signals and feed them to a preset counter 15, which is reset by-the output so that a control device, not shown, is supplied with an output signal 16 comprising a train of pulses having a predetermined spacing. In a modification, the logical operation circuit comprises AND-gates sequentially shifted by a register according to a prescribed pattern. In a further modification the command signal selects from frequencies f 1 -f n through a matrix and in a final modification two shift registers are employed.
