Abstract

1293450 Swivel connection M PULLING and D PULLING 5 Aug 1971 [13 Aug 1970] 39109/70 Heading E2F A swivel connection comprises two members which swivel relative to one another, a cylindrical pin secured to one member and extending through the other, and a pair of thrust bearings mounted on the pin a a ring attached thereto on either side of the other member. In Fig. 1 pin 13 is secured to member 10, and extends through a hole 17 in member 18. Bearings 20 and 21 are mounted on the pin 13 and nut 22 retains bearings 20 and 21 and member 18 on pin 13. Member 18 has a cantilevered part 19 which is attached to a seed portion (not shown) of a swivel chair. Member 10 is attached to base portion 11 of the chair.
