1292018 Fluid pressure brakes BENDIX CORP 19 April 1971 [9 March 1970 18 May 1970 23 Nov 1970] 23415/71 Heading F2F [Also in Division G3] A power boost mechanism for actuating, for example, a master cylinder of an hydraulic braking system comprises a housing 12 defining a pressure chamber 28, a valve 34 controlling flow through a passage of pressure fluid to actuate the output piston 24 of a servomotor, the valve 34 being actuated from a first position in a bore 36, against resilient means in the form of a spring 39, by an input member 42 through connecting means which include an element 74 slidably mounted on the valve 34 to restrict at least partially the area of passages 90 after the forces transmitted to the valve and the element have reached a predetermined value.
