1287008 Releasable fastenings W KAIMEIER & SOHN KG 5 Dec 1969 [6 Dec 1968] 59560/69 Heading E2B [Also in Divisions F2 and F4] A flanged pipe 2 is connected to an aperture in the wall 3 of a chimney of rectangular crosssection, Fig. 1, by means of studs 6 having diametrically opposed projections 8 inserted into identically shaped holes 9 and then rotated 90‹ to retain the pipe. Alternatively, the pipe 2 is connected to a flanged extension of the wall 3, Fig. 4, by a channel section ring 16, 17 overlying the flanges, the ring being hinged at 18 and having elongated slots 21 formed at the opposite ends of the two arms 16, 17. A bolt is passed through the common hole formed by the slots 21 to retain the ring.
