1286249 Food products O H J LEGRAND and P M J ROMBAUT 1 Oct 1969 [3 Oct 1968] 46991/68 Heading A2B A solid-shaped food product comprises powdered whole milk, powdered instant skim milk and dextrose, the water content of the product being not higher than 5% by wt. The food product may be prepared by (1) mixing powdered whole milk, powdered instant skim milk and dextrose (2) drying, if necessary, to obtain a mixture having a moisture content not greater than 5% by wt. and (3) subjecting the mixture in a mould to a pressure of 300-1000 kg/cm<SP>2</SP>. The food product may contain a disaccharide. The product may be in the form of a cubic, cylindrical or parallel pipedic block, pellet, tablet, lozenge, granule, wafer or figurine. The product may be packed in moisture-proof packs. The product may be added to beverages, e.g. coffee and tea.
