1284173 Supporting conductor rails J L HARMSEN 28 April 1970 20376/70 Heading H2C An adjustable support for a conductor rail 14 comprises a circular cap 16 seated firmly in an intermediate member 17, and prevented from rotating by teeth 37, 38 the intermediate member itself fitting over the cylindrical part 62 of base 18. On three flights of steps 68 lying within cylinder 62 stand three support members 48, prevented from slipping down the steps by ridges 78. The flights of steps may be integral with the base, or removably secured to allow for interchanging. In the embodiment each flight has eight steps, each riser being # inch, and the whole support is made of fibreglass reinforced polyester.
