Abstract

1284021 Multiplex systems SIEMENS AG 11 March 1970 [12 March 1969] 11551/70 Heading H4R The modulators of a carrier frequency converter are connected to the input or output of a common amplifier by respective resistors, the amplifier being provided with feedback to ensure a low input and output impedance, and low coupling between the modulators. As shown the modulators are connected to the amplifier M2 by resistors R11-R15 provided on a thick or thin film circuit assembly D2 together with other close tolerance components i.e. the output resistors R21-R23 and the amplifier feedback resistor Rp. A second thick or thin film assembly D1 is mounted on the first, D2, carrying wider tolerance components such as the input and output coupling capacitors C1 and C2. The amplifier comprises a monolithic integrated circuit M2 fed with power by a second monolithic integrated circuit M1, through which the operating power level of the circuit can be controlled.
