Abstract
1283655 Sterilizing vessels CANNON RUBBER MFRS Ltd 14 May 1971 [14 April 1970] 17685/70 Heading A4A A sterilizer vessel 1 suitable for containing a plurality of babies' bottles upright and submerged has a lateral extension 2 which is narrow compared with a babies' bottle. The vessel shown can contain four bottles, and has a float 14 to keep teats below the surface of disinfectant filling the container. A lid 12 covering the extension at 13 has a rim 11 co-operating with rim 3 on the container. The vessel may also be used to sterilize a jug 7 having lid 8 pivoted to handle 10 and preferably extending past the handle to afford a tongue for opening the lid. The extension accomodates the handle 10, a pair of tongs 5 located astride the handle, and a stirrer 6. The lower part of the extension may be separated from the lower part of the vessel by a vertical partition (4), Fig.3 (not shown), to define a chamber in the extension of a size to contain the correct quantity of concentrated disinfectant.
