1283061 Building toy HILARY PAGE "SENSIBLE" TOYS Ltd 26 March 1970 [2 Jan 1969] 240/69 Heading A6S A building toy consists of a base board 10, having a horizontal top surface 11a, in which recesses are formed to provide at least two groups of horizontal platform areas, 11b, 11c and 11d, increasing in depth and blocks corresponding in shape to the recesses and of at least two different thicknesses are provided. As illustrated, blocks of two basic horizontal cross-sections are provided, namely a quadrant piece 12, and a coved piece 13, which fit together to form a square (see pieces 12(x) and 13(x)). Pieces of each shape are provided in three different heights, differing in height by the same constant distance as the recesses differ in depth.
