1281089 Propylene polymer compositions TURNER BROS ASBESTOS CO Ltd 19 June 1970 [27 June 1969] 32691/69 Addition to 1181425 Heading C3P Compositions comprise a propylene polymer filled with a particulate mineral silicate or reinforced with a fibrous mineral silicate, and an antioxidant system comprising a phenolic antioxidant and a compound containing-the group Specified silicates are talc, anthophyllite asbestos, diatomaceous earth, clays, mica, slate flour, magnesium trisilicate and hornblende asbestos. Glass fibres, other fillers and pigments may also be present. Specified nitrogen compounds are melamine, hexamethylol melamine, guanidine, guanidine salts, cyano guanidine, amino guanidine, diphenyl guanidine, di-o-tolyl guanidine, sulphaguanidine, sulphadiazine, 3,4,5-triamino- 1,2,4-triazole and 3,5-di-imino-tetra-hydro-1,2,4- triazole. Sulphur-containing compounds acting synergistically with the phenols, e.g. dialkyl thiodipropionates, may also be incorporated.
