Abstract
1279527 Continuous production of cyclohexanone oxime STAMICARBON NV 18 Sept 1970 [20 Sept 1969] 44667/70 Heading C2C A continuous process of the production of cyclohexanone oxime by the reaction in an oxime synthesis zone of cyclohexanone with a counter-current stream of a buffered aqueous hydroxylammonium salt solution containing nitrate ions and in the absence of an organic solvent, in which the said hydroxylammonium salt solution has a hydroxylammonium salt content and a concentration of other dissolved salts and acids such that the effluent solution from the oxime synthesis zone is substantially free of hydroxylammcnium salt and contains not more than 90% by weight of cyclohexanone based on the cyclohexanone oxime produced.
