Abstract

1279021 Vehicle reversing lamp JOSEPH LUCAS (INDUSTRIES) Ltd 11 Dec 1969 [3 Jan 1969] 538/69 Heading F4R A combined bulb-holder and reflector 13 is mounted in grooves in a body 10 having flanges 11. The reflector may be rotated in the grooves 12 by engaging slots in the rods 15. A gasket 17 and transparent cover 16 are held in place by screws 18 and 19, two of the screws (19) being long enough to secure the lamp to a vehicle body. The screws clamp the reflector in place. In another embodiment (Fig. 2) a compressible baseplate (20) has the combined bulb-holder and reflector (22) mounted on cradles (23) on the plate and a moulded transparent cover (26) fixed to the plate. The reflector (22) is moved by an integral arm (25) on the reflector which protrudes through a slot (27) in the cover.
