Dyes of Formula (I) are claimed per se. The dyes. are prepared by conventional condensation. reactions. Specific dyes of Formula (I) are those in which X is a bond, CH 2 or -CH 2 O-; R 1 and R 2 are each CH 3 , C 2 H 5 , iso- C 3 H 7 , or C 6 H 13 ; R is CH 3 , C 2 H 5 or benzyl ring B is; optionally further substituted by Cl; Br or- F; R 3 and R 4 , are each H, CH 3 , C 2 H 5 , C 6 H 5 , C 2 H 4 CN, C 2 H 4 Cl, C 2 H 4 OH, benzyl or p-anisyl, or R 3 and R 4 together complete a morpholine or thiomorpholine dioxide ring; and ring D is optionally further substituted by CH 3 , C 2 H 5 , Cl, Br, OCH 3 or OC 2 H 5 . Specific dyes of formula (IV) are those in which R 5 is CH 3 , C 2 H 5 or benzyl; R 6 and R 7 are each CH 3 or C 2 H 5 ; ring B is optionally further substituted by Cl, Br, F, SO 2 N(CH 3 )2 or CON(CH 3 ) 2 ; X 3 is C 2 H 4 , iso- C 3 H 6 or CH 2 ; R 8 is CH 3 , C 2 H 5 , C 2 H 4 ,Cl, C 2 H 4 CN or benzyl; and ring D is optionally further substituted by F, Cl, Br, CH 3 , OCH 3 or OC 2 H 5 .
